Christian Counseling 2019
A relationship is a dance, and synchronization is the most important thing!
During this second semester,
as part of the Master's
Program in Christian
Counseling, we have the
pleasure of offering the course
Counseling'. For this course
we are using specially
developed materials as well as
the bestselling book, "Hold
me tight" by Dr. Sue Johnson.
The program is for Christian
couples and is based on
Emotionally Focused Marriage Therapy.
This is a proven approach to improving relationships, helping people move
from frustration and loneliness to a more secure and loving relationship. We
invited the spouses of our students to join the course, so that they can be
part of the learning and relationship-building group and learn together to
grow in intimacy, trust, care, and security. They will learn to better
understand their own feelings, as well as the feelings of their spouses. They
will learn to communicate by showing mutual understanding and
acceptance. The couples will deepen their trust, security and connection. Dr.
Nadya Stoykova models the educational and counseling process, and
challenges the students in the learning process as she looks at different cases
with them and advises families included in the program.
The admission can happen at any time after filing an application, laying the entrance examination and interview.
